Fast Facts

Keith Randall is a multi-instrumental musician, producer, and composer based out of Central Pennsylvania. He has performed hundreds of shows for thousands of music fans across PA, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware as a solo act, in a duo with his Wife Sonya, or as a sideman for many of the areas most popular bands. Recent years have seen Keith focus his attention on composition and performance on his nylon-stringed guitar, but he has been known to perform on steel-string/electric guitars, electric/upright bass, mandolin, bouzouki, ukulele, piano/keyboards, percussion, and as a vocalist. A devotee to music theory, Keith also composes all instrumentation for his records, including the alto saxophone, violin, and flute, all of which his Wife performs on his records.

  • "I Feel it Too," the first instrumental solo EP by Keith Randall was self-released in February 2022 and has received universally positive reviews. It was produced, mixed, and mastered by Keith at his home studio, School House Sound, located in Annville, PA. Accompanying him on the EP was his Wife, Sonya, who performed alto sax and violin on the record. On January 2023 "I Feel it Too" was nominated for best instrumental album of the year (2022) by the CPMA. Feeling inspired by positive album reviews, Keith immediately returned to the studio to record his sophomore effort.
  • Released November 2022 was Keith's Christmas single, "The Power of a Child," which features Sonya on the alto sax. "The Power of a Child" was written for and  included on "Joy to the Burg," a compilation of holiday music to benefit Harrisburg PA's homeless. "The Power of a Child" is also available as a single through mainstream distributors (iTunes, Amazon, etc...)
  • "Aspire," Keith's first full-length record, expands on the orchestration featured on his previous recordings. "Aspire" was released February 1st, 2023, with the lead off single, "Laiko" (featuring Keith's performance on a Bouzouki) scheduled released January 1st. To announce the record's release Keith and Sonya graced the cover of Pennsylvania Musician Magazine, complete with interview and album review.

On performing with his Wife: "I honestly had no idea how much talent my Wife had until well after we were married. Her sax, flute, and violin playing are beautiful additions to my compositions. As with "I Feel it Too," all of the instrumentation on "Aspire" was performed in the studio by either Sonya or myself (except for the drums, which I program). There are no "canned" strings or horns on our records. This live orchestration has defined a unique sound that I am very proud of. I'm also so proud of how far Sonya has come as a musician and I can't imagine making music without her. As such, I've chosen to feature her skills throughout my records. There is a special bond between musicians who perform together and I count myself lucky for being able to count that bond amongst the many others that my Wife and I share."
